Return to the Workplace

As we chart the course to reopening, Farrell Fritz will follow New York Forward guidelines to encourage a safe return to the workplace for our employees and promote safety for our clients and visitors.

If you plan to visit our offices, please coordinate your visit with your Relationship Attorney. We are minimizing visitor traffic; plan to follow building and firm guidelines prior to entry of the building and Farrell Fritz office space. For more information, please view our Office Visitor Guidelines & Affirmation document.

We are taking aggressive precautions to minimize risk as we return to our offices. The firm is monitoring updates by Federal, State and Local authorities.

Status of Offices

As of Monday, June 15th, our Uniondale, Albany, Hauppauge and Water Mill offices will reopen in accordance with New York Forward guidelines. We will have limited staff as we monitor the return to work for our employees.

Remote Access

Clients can expect continuity of services, operations and accessibility via phone and email. You will continue to be able to reach our attorneys via their regular direct dial phone number, mobile phone or email.

Depositions, Closings, Meetings

If you’re scheduled to have a meeting in the office, please be prepared to follow building requirements. Once in our offices, specific safety protocols will be enabled to help create a safe environment for your visit. Our visitor policy will be shared with you prior to your meeting time, and you will be expected to complete a questionnaire upon arrival to the office.

Litigation

As litigation has proceeded through the pandemic, leveraging technology for virtual conferences and telephonic appearances, Farrell Fritz continues to guide clients through the process.  Courts and court personnel are beginning a return to normal; restrictions on NYSCEF filings have been lifted, stays of appellate filings have been lessened, and court personnel are returning to the Courthouse.   Farrell Fritz remains able to file and defend new litigations, and respond to existing litigations.  While Court appearances may be virtual or different for a period of time, this will not impact our ability to effectively represent clients. For more information about the litigation process, please contact your Farrell Fritz Relationship Attorney.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Should you have questions, kindly contact your Farrell Fritz Relationship Attorney or feel free to contact me at rcreighton@farrellfritz.com
