The next meeting of the Surrogate’s Court Estates & Trusts Committee will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association. This will be an in person meeting only.

This will be a roundtable discussion concerning recent decisions in the practice area of Trusts and Estates led by Vice Chair, Maria Johnson, Esq.

Bret Cahn will be speaking at the Brooklyn Bar Assocation’s CLE “How to Handle Estate or Trust Mismanagement” with Regina Kiperman of RK Law PC.

This program will cover the remedies available to the beneficiary/distributee of an estate or trust who suspects wrongdoing, including obtaining information, commencing a reverse turnover, suspending and/or removing the fiduciary, and compelling an accounting.
