Robert M. Harper Presenting at ACTEC 2023 Fall Meeting

Robert M. Harper will be presenting at the ACTEC Fall Meeting for the ACTEC Fiduciary Litigation Committee on the panel “Take it to the Limit: Statute of Limitations in Will & Trust Contests.”

This presentation will explore limitations periods for contesting wills and trusts.  The panel will cover the general deadlines and exceptions or tricks of the trade to time limits.  The session will also review will or trust “contests” that are not challenges of validity, but lead to confusion regarding deadlines, such as construction disputes and the proper exercise of power of appointments.
