April 29, 2019
New York City Bar Association
42 West 44th Street
New York, NY
6:00pm - 9:00pm
What do you do when you are appointed Guardian, Counsel to Guardian, Executor, or Administrator and learn that assets are missing, or, that people who have information about the assets will not provide you with the information? What steps do you take to obtain the information and recover the assets? This course discussed the institution of discovery and turnover proceedings (both at the Guardianship and Surrogateās Court level). The panelists navigated through the steps to file the petition, serve and examine the respondent, take the necessary steps to get an Order for the assets, and enforce that Order.
This CLE presentation was offered both live and via webcast.
