Michael L. Webb frequently represents banks and borrowers, including hospitals, health systems, educational institutions and general corporate clients, in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures, and taxable and tax-exempt financing arrangements. He has previously worked with landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers of commercial, retail and industrial properties around the country and investors and stakeholders in both simple and complex property transactions.
Michael’s practice covers all stages of purchase and sale transactions from planning and drafting documents, through negotiations and closing. In this role, he counsels clients on purchase and sale agreements, facilitates the closing and post-closing processes, and performs title review, due diligence and other site acquisition services.
Michael represents banks, lenders and corporate borrowers in financings and commercial transactions that use real estate as collateral, counseling commercial banks, non-bank financing companies and other financial groups entering into financing arrangements. He has experience structuring, negotiating and documenting financing transactions and performing diligence review of commercial leases, commercial real estate titles, and surveys in connection with such financing transactions.
