A description is below:
A spouse who survives a decedent has many rights. Whether there is a last will and testament or not, it is important to determine if there is a surviving spouse. In this course you will learn about:
- Statutory rights that one spouse has in another spouse’s estate;
- Asserting, securing and calculating the right of election;
- Marital agreements and
- Waivers of spousal rights
