This program will cover the basics of probate proceedings and considerations when there may be a will contest. Discussion will also cover how to prepare for pre-objection 1404 exams. Section 1404 of New York’s Surrogate’s Court Procedures Act allows potential contestants to a will or probate proceeding to examine witnesses and request documents before making an objection.
