Farrell Fritz Elevates Four Attorneys to Partner and One to Counsel

Farrell Fritz is pleased to announce the promotion of Edward D. Baker, Bret Cahn, Allison A. Gatoff and Viktoriya Liberchuk to partner effective January 1, 2026.

Edward D. Baker is a trusts and estates litigator representing individuals and families throughout the metropolitan New York area. He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. State University of New York at Binghamton. Edward practices out of the Uniondale office.

Bret Cahn is a trusts and estates and Article 81 guardianship litigator representing individuals and families across New York. He earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Bret practices out of the New York City office.

Allison A. Gatoff is a trusts and estates attorney representing fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and distributees in all phases of the administration of trusts and estates. She earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her B.S. from East Carolina University. Allison practices out of the Uniondale office.

 Viktoriya Liberchuk is a commercial litigator representing middle market businesses in state and federal court. She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.S from Baruch College City University of New York. Viktoriya practices out of the Uniondale office.

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Colleen Spain to Counsel effective January 1, 2026.

Colleen Spain is a tax lawyer advising individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations on a broad range of federal, state, and local tax issues. She earned her J.D. from the St. John’s University School of Law, her M.S. from St. John’s University – Peter J. Tobin College of Business, and her B.A from Fordham University. Colleen practices out of the Uniondale Office.
