About Stephen

Stephen F. Melore focuses his practice on representing closely held businesses and financial institutions in complex business transactions across diverse market and industry segments.  Steve advises businesses and principals in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs and Chapter 11 restructurings.

He also advises lenders and funds in secured financings, acquisition financings and lease financings, as well as buyers and sellers of portfolios of performing, subperforming and nonperforming consumer and commercial receivables. Steve began his career in 1987 as an associate at Rogers & Wells (NY), where he practiced until he joined Farrell Fritz in 1992.
