About Lyle
Lyle C. Mahler is a trusted adviser who prides himself on providing practical, business-centric advice to his clients.
Lyle has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in connection with mergers and acquisitions, capital investments and joint venture arrangements, with a special emphasis on real estate joint ventures. He also handles a variety of general corporate matters, including the negotiation and preparation of shareholder agreements, LLC operating agreements and various types of commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements. With over 25 years of corporate legal experience, clients regularly seek out Lyle for general business counseling and his creative, get it done approach.
In addition, Lyle has broad experience representing lenders in both secured and unsecured loan transactions, including syndicated and asset-based loan facilities and frequently provides advice on complex structuring issues.

- Represented nationally known brand in connection with the sale of its registered agent and business search and filing services business to a leading fund portfolio company in the registered agent and transactional services industry.
- Represented Van de Wetering Greenhouses in connection with its $42,500,000 sale to Columbia Care, a publicly traded cannabis company.
- Represented UK based buyer Audiotonix in the acquisition of US based professional audio equipment designer and manufacturer Sound Devices, LLC.
- Represented purchaser of multiple franchise units in the health and fitness industry segment.
- Represented company in the heavy machinery parts and repair business in connection with its sale to a PE backed portfolio company.
- Represented Super-Tek Products, a tile and stone installation products manufacturer, in its strategic sale to Parex USA
- Represented a carpet and rug wholesaler + distributor in its sale to Stanton Carpet Corporation

Lyle is active in the Long Island community, devoting his time to many local charities and events, as well as coaching his children’s sports teams. He is a member of the Long Island Cares board of directors and serves on the HIA-LI’s business development committee. Lyle was a member of the Hospice Care Network’s finance committee from 2011 – 2018. He also served on the Long Island-Turnaround Management Association’s (LI-TMA) board of directors from 2010 to 2015.
