About Bret

Bret Cahn concentrates on Trust and Estate litigation in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court. His practice includes will contests, discovery and turnover proceedings, removal proceedings, contested accountings, disputes related to the spousal right of election, and Article 81 guardianship proceedings. Bret is experienced in drafting and arguing substantive and procedural motions, engaging in settlement negotiations, examining witnesses, and appellate practice.

Bret lectures to numerous organizations on various Trust and Estate litigation topics, including turnover proceedings, relief against a fiduciary, and disputes related to the spousal right of election.
