Jordan S. Linn of Farrell Fritz to Receive Long Island Business News’ “40 Under 40” Award

Jordan S. Linn has been selected by Long Island Business News (LIBN) as a “40 Under 40” award recipient.  Each year LIBN honors forty Long Island business professionals under the age of 40 for their business leadership and community involvement.  A reception will be held in their honor at the Crest Hollow Country Club (Woodbury, NY) on Thursday, January 30, 2014.

Mr. Linn, a Merrick, NY resident, is counsel in the firm’s trusts & estates and tax departments.  He focuses his practice on estate planning and administration.  Mr. Linn earned his LL.M. degree in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law; his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Mr. Linn is a contributor to the firm’s New York Trusts & Estates Litigation blog. He also presents continuing education programs for attorneys, accountants and financial advisors.

Mr. Linn is actively involved in the community.  He serves on the board of directors of the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County, an organization which teaches the history of the Holocaust and uses its lessons to combat against intolerance through education and community outreach programs.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Merrick/North-Merrick Little League.

Jordan has earned an AV Preeminent Martindale‐Hubbell Peer Review Rating, a testament to the fact that his peers rank him at the highest level of ethical standards and professional ability. In 2013, he received LIBN’s “Leadership in Law” award, was named to the Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Stars list and was featured in Long Island Pulse magazine’s “Top Legal Eagles” section.  Long Island Business News named him to their “Ones to Watch in Retirement and Estate Planning” list in 2011.
