Jaclene L. D'Agostino is an associate in the trusts and estates department concentrating in litigation. She represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in Surrogate's Courts throughout the metropolitan area, and has been involved in probate contests, accounting proceedings, discovery proceedings, and other miscellaneous proceedings relating to estates and trusts. Her practice includes conducting pre-trial discovery, legal research, and drafting motion papers. She is a frequent contributor to Farrell Fritz's New York Trusts & Estates Litigation blog.
Ms. D'Agostino is actively involved in the Suffolk County Bar Association, serving as Co-Chair of the Community Outreach Committee. She also serves on the Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS) golf committee.
Ms. D'Agostino was a law clerk with the firm during the summer of 2005. She has also held intern positions with Justice Stephen A. Bucaria, New York State Supreme Court and Judge Ruth Balkin, Nassau County Family Court.
Ms. D'Agostino received her J.D. in May of 2006 from St. John's University School of Law. In law school, she was a frontline editor on the St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary and a recipient of a St. John's University School of Law Merit Scholarship. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2003.
Ms. D'Agostino is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
