Thomas Maguire is an associate working with the firm’s litigation team to resolve complex commercial disputes. Tom supports the firm’s business and individual clients across all phases of litigation, including legal research, due diligence, discovery, documentation, case strategy, and trial preparation. He also works within the firm’s healthcare and New York State Regulatory & Government Relations practice.
Before joining the firm as an associate, Tom was a Summer Associate with Farrell Fritz. To provide the best possible support to clients, Tom draws upon the experience he gained from two legal internships. Working with the Student Practice Order at Albany Law’s Family Violence Litigation Clinic at the Edward P. Swyer Justice Center, Tom represented clients in family court matters and led team-based, strategic planning to resolve cases effectively. Prior to that, Tom also interned in the General Counsel’s Office of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, where he researched statutory authority and reviewed lease documents and grant applications for compliance.
