Nicholas Divittorio is a trusts and estates attorney focusing on estate administration, fiduciary advising, and comprehensive estate planning. He counsels high-net-worth individuals and families, including artists and entertainers, investors, start-up founders, and business owners across a wide range of industries. Nick also supports and guides families and individuals through the estate administration process, including probate and a wide range of Surrogate’s Court proceedings. Nick is a graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Dispute Resolution Society and engaged in estate planning course work under Hon. Edward W. McCarty, III, former Nassau County Surrogate. During law school, Nick also served as Judicial Intern to Hon. Joseph F. Bianco, United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit, where he provided legal memoranda and opinions for the consideration of Judge Bianco.
Nick began his career at a boutique law firm concentrating in estate planning, administration, and litigation. Before joining Farrell Fritz, Nick was an associate in the taxation and estate practice group of a New York City-based national business law firm, where he advised clients on probate and estate administration for complex and sensitive estates.
