Farrell Fritz is pleased to announce that Kadan Sample has joined the firm as Counsel in its Real Estate and Commercial Finance & Banking Groups, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in commercial real estate finance and complex lending transactions.
Kadan Sample is a banking and finance lawyer representing lenders and borrowers in a broad range of commercial real estate finance and commercial and industrial (C&I) transactions. She works with large national and regional lending institutions, as well as community banks and developer clients, to structure and close acquisition loans, construction and permanent financing, cash-out refinances, pre-development loans, lines of credit, and SWAP transactions. Kadan is known for her practical, deal-oriented approach and her ability to guide transactions efficiently from structuring through closing.
Kadan’s experience includes facilitating financings for developers engaged in the acquisition, rehabilitation, and construction of a wide range of asset classes, including hotels, apartment complexes, retail centers, office buildings, and manufacturing and industrial facilities. Her depth of experience on both the lender and borrower side allows her to anticipate challenges and deliver solutions that align with her clients’ business goals.
Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Kadan served as a principal at a business law firm in New York’s Capital Region, where she handled a wide range of commercial lending and real estate matters. Earlier in her career, Kadan was an associate at a boutique law firm focused on affordable housing development, advising on transactions utilizing federal and New York State low-income housing tax credits.
“Helping clients navigate complex financing transactions and bring impactful real estate projects to life is what drives my practice,” Sample said. “Farrell Fritz has a strong reputation in the real estate and lending space, and I’m excited to be part of a team that is both highly collaborative and deeply committed to client service.”
“Kadan’s experience representing both lenders and developers, along with her strong technical skills and commercial mindset, make her a terrific addition to the firm,” said Robert C. Creighton, managing partner of Farrell Fritz. “Her arrival further enhances our ability to support clients across the full spectrum of real estate and financing transactions.”
