What makes Farrell Fritz different for you and your career?
Having worked at other firms, I can confidently say that the supportive and collegial work environment at Farrell Fritz is unparalleled. I am fortunate to collaborate with an incredibly talented group of individuals, which not only enriches my professional experience but also inspires me each and every day.
What keeps you passionate about practicing law?
The dynamic nature of Trust and Estates Litigation. Each case presents unique and complex disputes involving trusts, estates, and financial interests, which require a delicate balance of legal strategy and client advocacy. I find great fulfillment in the opportunity to protect my clients’ assets and resolve contentious issues, which allows me to make a meaningful impact in my clients’ lives.
What is your greatest career accomplishment to date?
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on several high-profile, high-net-worth estates. However, I find my most fulfilling role is serving as a guardian ad litem for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. In this capacity, I facilitate the appointment of family members as guardians to make essential personal, medical, and financial decisions for their loved ones. These pro bono judicial appointments are particularly meaningful to me, as they allow me to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Supporting individuals during such critical times is immensely rewarding and reflects my commitment to both my profession and the community.
What is your top source of motivation in life?
My wife and our three children are my largest source of motivation. They inspire me every day to be the best version of myself, to work hard, and to create a loving and supportive environment for them.
If you could work with any client or company in history, who would it be?
A professional sports franchise (Giants, Knicks or Yankees)—or a high-profile professional athlete (Derek Jeter or Eli Manning).
What is your favorite thing to do in New York?
Going upstate to my family’s house in Bethel, New York, a place that holds generations of cherished memories. My grandmother even joins us there. It’s where multiple generations of my family come together to enjoy concerts, hiking, swimming, boating, and a variety of other outdoor activities. These trips are more than just fun; they’re a chance to relax, reconnect with nature, and strengthen family bonds.
What is a fun fact about you?
I can do handstands and back flips, which often surprises people. Beyond that, I’m a devoted athlete who enjoys a variety of sports, including golf, tennis, pickleball, basketball, and softball (including playing and serving as a leader on the FF softball team for many years). However, the most rewarding aspect of staying active is the opportunity to coach my children’s teams. Through coaching, I’ve learned invaluable lessons in patience, creativity, and the joy of celebrating small victories.
