Four Farrell Fritz Partners Receive Top Awards

Farrell Fritz is pleased to announce that John J. Barnosky and Robert E. Sandler both received the Best Lawyers in America© 2020 Long Island “Lawyer of the Year” award. This recognition is awarded to attorneys with the highest overall peer feedback for their specific practice area on Long Island.  Jack Barnosky was recognized in trusts & estates litigation and Bob Sandler in real estate law.  Best Lawyers© is the oldest and one of the most respected peer review publications in the legal profession.

Jack Barnosky is a partner in the firm’s estate litigation practice group.  He earned his J. D. from St. John’s University School of Law, holds an LLM from New York University School of Law and a B. A. from Assumption College. Bob Sandler is a partner in the firm’s real estate practice group.  He holds a J. D. from St. John’s University School of Law, a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from City University of New York Hunter College and a B. A. from American University.

In addition, Ilene S. Cooper and James M. Wicks were recently named to the 2019 New York Metro Super Lawyers Top 100 List. Those named to the list earned the highest number of votes among their peers throughout the New York metropolitan region.  Ilene Cooper was recognized as a Top 100 attorney in Trusts & Estates Litigation. This is Jim Wicks’ fifth time being named to the Top 100 List in Business Litigation. Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
