
Marissa Padovano is a litigation attorney defending clients in land use and real estate matters. She represents clients both in the courtroom and in hearings.
Marissa’s civil litigation experience includes adverse possession, constitutional violations, flooding, and municipal liability matters. She conducts and defends depositions, presents oral arguments, and engages in a motions practice in State and Federal courts. Her litigation experience also includes the defense of municipal entities from the filing of a Notice of Claim through trial.
Before joining the firm, Marissa was an associate with civil litigation firms in New York. Prior to entering private practice, Marissa developed foundational support for her litigation practice as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department. While there, she held roles in both the Special Federal Litigation Division and the Family Court Division where she established strong knowledge of the litigation process as well as federal monitorships and policing methods throughout the country.
