Farrell Fritz is proud to announce the appointment of A.J. Swartwood to the New Leadership Program (NLP) at the Legal Aid Society.
A.J. Swartwood is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and ECVC Groups, based in our New York City office. As part of his pro bono practice, A.J. works with New York-based human rights organizations in representing clients in deportation hearings. In 2022, he was also a New York State Bar Empire State Counsel Pro Bono Honoree.
The National Leadership Program (NLP) at the Legal Aid Society seeks to engage younger professionals in networking, fundraising, and volunteering events. For more than 150 years, the Legal Aid Society has worked to protect and defend the rights of everyday New Yorkers in need of legal support.
At Farrell Fritz, we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities where we live, work, and play. We are incredibly proud of A.J. for taking on this leadership role in the NLP, and we wish him luck in his mission to make a positive impact in the community.
