About Willets

Willets S. Meyer concentrates his practice in all aspects of real property taxation reduction/abatement on behalf of developers, owners and tenants of commercial and residential properties throughout New York state. He is a well-known speaker in Long Island real estate circles, delivering numerous seminars on property tax reduction strategies.

 

 

Before joining Farrell Fritz in 1993, Will worked as a law clerk for the Office of Independent Counsel Iran/Contra, where he assisted with several federal white-collar criminal trials and received high-level government security clearances.

Community Work

In 2021, Will joined the board of directors of the Community Foundation of Oyster Bay, a not-for-profit corporation that raises money for distribution to charitable, philanthropic and benevolent organizations that promote the welfare of residents in need living in Oyster Bay and surrounding neighborhoods. He has been a member of the board of directors of The WaterFront Center, a not-for-profit organization promoting marine education, conservation, and recreation for Long Island residents, since 2011. Will also serves as a director and/or officer of several private organizations, and as a director of the Oyster Bay Sailing Foundation. He was appointed chairman of the board of ethics for the Incorporated Village of Upper Brookville in 2017.

Will is also Director & Member of Executive Committee at Cord Meyer Development Co.
