H. Price Ciolino is a commercial litigator representing national and international companies, educational institutions, governmental entities, and individuals. Price resolves employment disputes and general business litigation matters for clients using summary judgment, pre-trial negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, as well as jury trials before the state and federal courts.
A practical business advisor, Price is tuned into the dynamics surrounding employee-employer relationships. His employment litigation experience includes counseling clients on issues spanning civil rights, noncompete violations, wrongful terminations, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Equal Pay Act (EPA), Title IX, vicarious liability, and negligent hiring matters, among other areas.
When advising clients on business litigation matters, Price carefully considers how disputes impact a company’s goals as well as the associated reputational risks. His experience includes advising clients in disputes surrounding insurance, secured transactions, bankruptcy, breach of contract, trust and estates, and other daily business issues.
Regardless of the type of matter, Price is involved across every stage of litigation. He manages all aspects of dispute resolution including research, due diligence, discovery, documentation, case analysis, settlements, and defense strategy.
Prior to joining the firm, Price established his practice as an associate in the New Orleans office of a southeastern regional law firm, handling a range of business law disputes. His experience also includes working in the Office of the General Counsel for the United States Capitol Police in Washington D.C., supporting the defense of employee discrimination claims filed under the Congressional Accountability Act.
