Interfaith Nutrition Network: Serving the Hungry & Homeless

January 01, 2010

The Interfaith Nutrition Network (“The INN”) is a not-for-profit organization that addresses the issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island by providing food, shelter, long-term housing and supportive services to those Long Islanders who are in need. The INN operates 19 soup kitchens throughout the Island and also provides emergency shelter through residences it owns.

For years, Farrell Fritz has represented The INN in its real estate transactions. In one instance, Peter Curry assisted The INN in selling a residence in Bay Shore, Long Island, which could no longer be used for the INN’s purposes. The building was sold to an affiliate of The Habitat for Humanity, which planned to use the house as interim residences for families for whom The Habitat is building permanent housing.
