Ilene S. Cooper, Esq., Named Partner at Farrell Fritz, P.C.

Ilene S. Cooper, an attorney at Farrell Fritz who practices in the area of Trusts and Estates, has been named Partner, effective January 1, 2004. Ms. Cooper  practices litigation in Surrogate’s Courts throughout the metropolitan area.  She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Touro Law School.

Ms. Cooper writes the New York Law Journal’s Trusts and Estates Update column, the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Newsletter Case Notes column, is a columnist for The Suffolk Lawyer and is a former co-editor of Jurist.  Ms. Cooper authored a comprehensive course text, Wills, Trusts and Estates:  Essential Tools for the NY Paralegal.

Ms. Cooper pursues many philanthropic endeavors.  She serves on the Board of the Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS), the Hills Foundation and the Suffolk County Child Care Council.  She is a past Board member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association.
