Farrell Fritz Welcomes Partner Peter B. Zlotnick

Peter B. Zlotnick, a Tenafly, NJ resident, has joined the firm’s New York City office as a partner in the commercial litigation department. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, his Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University.

Peter has trial experience in state and federal courts and has adjudicated disputes in numerous other legal, administrative and regulatory tribunals.  He also has extensive alternative dispute resolution experience, including arbitrations and mediations of sophisticated business disputes.  Peter practices in the fields of real estate and construction litigation, business tort and corporate governance disputes, financial disputes, executive compensation and employment disputes, bankruptcy and restructuring and general commercial litigation.  Over the past 20 years, Peter has been appointed by federal judges to serve in connection with numerous consumer fraud actions brought by the Federal Trade Commission (the “FTC”) as an equity receiver of companies that have been accused of engaging in unfair and deceptive trade practices in violation of Section 5 and 13(b) of the FTC Act.  He has also been engaged in connection with several other FTC cases to serve as counsel for the receivers in those actions.
