Farrell Fritz Partner, Eric M. Kramer, Receives CPA Society’s Distinguished Service Award

Farrell Fritz trusts and estates partner and Certified Public Accountant, Eric M. Kramer, recently received the Nassau Chapter of the CPA Society’s Distinguished Service Award for the many contributions he has made to the Society during the past 20+ years.

Mr. Kramer is a past President of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants – Nassau Chapter and former Chair of the Chapter’s Estate Planning Committee. He has been a contributing editor of the New York State CPA Society Journal and has chaired the Income of Trusts and Estates Committee.

Mr. Kramer, a Dix Hills resident, concentrates his legal practice in estate tax planning. He advises clients on business succession planning, including tax implications of the various methods of transfer.

Mr. Kramer volunteers as a summer parent for the Fresh Air Fund. He also serves on the Estate Planning Committee for the Interfaith Nutrition Network; as a committee member of Medical Mission International; on the Advisory Board of the Long Island Community Foundation and on the Heart Advisory Council of the Long Island Chapter of the American Heart Association.

Mr. Kramer earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
