Farrell Fritz, P.C. Promotes Hillary A. Frommer & Jordan S. Linn to Counsel

Farrell Fritz, P.C. is pleased to announce the promotions of Hillary A. Frommer and Jordan S. Linn to counsel, effective January 1, 2011.

Hillary A. Frommer, a New York, NY resident, is counsel in the firm’s commercial litigation department. She represents businesses, financial institutions and individuals in federal and state trial courts as well as in arbitrations and in litigations involving complex business disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment and other commercial matters. Ms. Frommer is a contributor to Farrell Fritz’s New York Commercial Division Case Compendium blog.

Mr. Frommer serves on the board of directors of The Parent-Child Home Program, a research-based and research-validated early childhood literacy and school readiness program. She is a member of the New York and Illinois Bars; the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Northern District of Illinois; the American, New York State and Illinois Bar Associations, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Ms. Frommer earned her Juris Doctor degree, with Honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and the Notes and Comments Editor. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences.

Jordan S. Linn, a Merrick, NY resident, is counsel in the firm’s trusts and estates department, focusing on estate planning and estate administration. His practice focuses upon structuring and implementing sophisticated gift, estate and generation skipping tax planning techniques; the drafting of trust agreements, wills and advance directives and the representation of fiduciaries in the probate and administration of estates and trusts. He has also assisted in the representation of clients involved in IRS audits and United States Tax Court proceedings. Mr. Linn is a contributor to Farrell Fritz’s New York Trusts & Estates Litigation blog. He is a frequent lecturer on trusts and estates topics, presenting continuing education programs for accountants and attorneys.

Mr. Linn serves as a member of the advisory board of the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Long Island. He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and New York State Courts. Mr. Linn is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Linn earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
