Suffolk County Landbank will present the 2019 Brownfield Regional Conference on Friday, May 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

7:30 – 8 a.m. – Breakfast & Networking
8 – 8:30 a.m. – Keynote Speaker, Hon. Steve Bellone
8:30 – 9:15 a.m. – “Getting it Done – Projects Completed and Underway”
Speakers will outline the steps taken to successfully transform contaminated properties into productive assets. Moderator: Dorian Dale, Suffolk County Landbank, chief strategic officer & chief recovery officer, Suffolk County. Panelists: Aaron Daniels, A&D Investors, Former Liberty Plating Site; Vince Trapani, former Hubbard Power and Light; and Posillico Development, Harbor Isle Condo Project.
9:15 – 10 a.m. – “Mitigating Risks to Facilitate Brownfield Redevelopment”
Speakers will discuss the various financial incentives to facilitate redevelopment. Moderator: Carrie Gallager, NYSDEC Region 1 Director. Panelists: Charlotte Biblow, Esq., Farrell Fritz, Environmental; Dale Desnoyers, Esq., Suffolk County Lanbank; TBD, Environmental Insurance; and Dave Ashton, NYS DOS, Brownfield Opportunity Areas.
