Charlotte Biblow to Receive LIBN’s “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business Award”

Farrell Fritz, P.C. partner, Charlotte A. Biblow, will receive Long Island Business News’ “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business Award” at an awards gala on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. The Top 50 program recognizes Long Island’s top women professionals for business acumen, mentoring and community involvement. This is the second time Ms. Biblow is being recognized.

Ms. Biblow leads the firm’s environmental practice group. She served as a board member of the American Heart Association, Long Island Region from 1993-2007 and continues to remain active in the organization. In 2005, she was awarded the American Heart Association’s James W. Dowling Award for outstanding service in advancing the heart program and stimulating public support to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Ms. Biblow serves on the board of the Long Island Fund for Women and Girls; on the Board of Trustees for Sustainable Long Island; and on the Board of Directors of the Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc.

In 2008, The Ward Melville Heritage Organization honored Ms. Biblow with the Heritage Partner Award for her outstanding achievements in community service. In 2007, she was honored by The Queens Courier and Queens Business Today as a female “Professional of the Year.”

Ms. Biblow earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. She received a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health Science from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany.
