Maura A. McLoughlin is the managing attorney for Farrell Fritz’s commercial and estate litigation practice groups. In this capacity Maura, among other things, advises our litigation attorneys on procedural and substantive rules in various courts, timely educates our attorneys to rule nuances and changes in state and federal courts, monitors court dockets for new litigations, and maintains files of pleadings, discovery, and recurring brief issues that are compliant with best practices.
Maura also oversees and coordinates the electronic and in-person filing of litigation papers, effectuates service of those papers, and monitors each case from inception to completion, including through the appellate process.
Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Maura was, for nearly 18 years, managing attorney for Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP’s litigation practice. Maura also spent 10 years with the Appellate Division, Second Department, where she handled disciplinary matters, wrote confidential reports for the Justices and managed the motion department.
