About Elizabeth
Elizabeth E. Vail represents clients in commercial litigation and land use and development applications before municipal boards, including zoning and planning boards in towns and villages in Suffolk county. She also represents clients in state and district courts in connection with their litigated matters. Liz serves as Counsel to the Village of Sag Harbor Zoning Board of Appeals and to the Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board.
Before joining Farrell Fritz, Liz was the Town Attorney for the Town of East Hampton. She also previously served as an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Southampton (2005 to 2013) and as Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (2002 to 2005).

Community Work
Liz is active within the Long Island community and devotes her time to many charitable organizations. Most recently she has been elected to serve on the board for i-tri, an organization focused on empowering girls. Additionally, she serves as Counsel to the Village of Sag Harbor Zoning Board of Appeals, and to the Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board.
