American Jewish Committee to Honor Alon Y. Kapen with Civic Leadership Award

Farrell Fritz warmly congratulates our partner, Alon Y. Kapen, who will be receiving the American Jewish Committee (AJC) – Long Island’s Civic Leadership Award at a dinner to be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Garden City Hotel.  He will be honored alongside former New York State Chief Judge Judith Kaye, who will be receiving the Judge Learned Hand Award.  Farrell Fritz real estate partner, John Racanelli, is co-chairing the dinner.

 

Mr. Kapen, a Centerport, NY resident, is a corporate attorney who focuses on representing entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and their private and institutional investors.  He is the editor and a frequent contributor to the firm’s New York Venture Hub blog.  Mr. Kapen has served as the president of AJC-LI and is currently President Emeritus.  He earned his Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School, where he was editor of the Cornell Law Review.  He received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University.
