Suffolk County, NY 2014 Real Estate Tax Grievance Opportunity

May 01, 2014

The annual property tax grievance day in Suffolk County is May 20. Protests must be filed between May 1 and May 20, 2014.

The grievance period is your only opportunity to review the basis for your real estate taxes for the next tax year (2014 – 2015). If you think your taxes are too high or inconsistent with the rental
value of your commercial property, you should file to protect your rights.

Farrell Fritz represents many commercial, industrial and residential property owners — or tenants who pay the taxes — throughout the town of Smithtown and Suffolk County.
