Providing Legal Care for a Local Nurse

Farrell Fritz recently represented a local nurse on a pro bono basis in an effort to negotiate with the State Department of Health regarding certain penalties, including, but not limited to, an unpaid suspension, that the Department is seeking to impose. Steven Davi of the firm’s Litigation and Labor and Employment groups negotiated with the State Department to delay implementation of the penalties until the client was able to make appropriate arrangements to mitigate the impact of the penalty and suspension.
