Bob G. Goldberg is counsel concentrating in corporate and tax law.
Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Mr. Goldberg served as tax and ERISA counsel for a leading labor, employment and education law firm. His practice concentrated in all aspects of employee benefits, including qualified plans, non-qualified plans, health and welfare benefits and related tax issues for a client base of public and private educational institutions.
Mr. Goldberg is a founding partner of a small business law firm concentrating in the tax, pension, corporate and real estate areas of practice for a client base consisting of closely held businesses and their principals.
Since January 1996, Mr. Goldberg has been an Adjunct Professor of Criminology at Suffolk County Community College.
From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Goldberg served as tax and ERISA counsel at an employee benefits law firm. In addition to the aforementioned, his practice also focused on deferred compensation.
Mr. Goldberg also held positions as associate at a business law firm (Mineola, NY); partner at a business law firm (New York, NY) and supervising tax specialist at a public accounting firm (New York, NY).
Mr. Goldberg earned his LL.M. in taxation in 1984 from New York University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1980 from St. John's University School of Law and his B.S. in economics, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany in 1977.
Mr. Goldberg is a member of the New York State Bar, the Federal District Court (S.D.N.Y.) and the United States Tax Court.
