Farrell Fritz Partner, Eric M. Kramer, Appointed to NYS CPA Society’s Board of Directors

Farrell Fritz trusts and estates partner, and Certified Public Accountant, Eric M. Kramer, was recently appointed to the New York State CPA Society’s Board of Directors. He will serve a three-year term.

Mr. Kramer, a Dix Hills resident, concentrates his legal practice in estate tax planning. He advises clients on business succession planning, including tax implications of the various methods of transfer.

Mr. Kramer is the past President of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants – Nassau Chapter. Former positions include contributing editor of the New York State CPA Society Journal; Chair of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Income of Trusts and Estates Committee; and Chair of the Estate Planning Committee for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants – Nassau Chapter.

Mr. Kramer volunteers as a summer parent for the Fresh Air Fund. He also serves on the Estate Planning Committee for the Interfaith Nutrition Network; as a committee member of Medical Mission International; on the Advisory Board of the Long Island Community Foundation and on the Heart Advisory Council of the Long Island Chapter of the American Heart Association.

Mr. Kramer earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
