Our partner, Peter Curry, the General counsel of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS), and the other panel members will conduct a mock mediation among a landlord, tenant and two brokers to determine which party was due a commission on a leasing transaction. The seminar’s purpose is to alert CIBS commercial real estate brokers on the requirements for bringing a mediation before the CIBS Mediation Committee. Such mediation is a prerequisite before brokers who are CIBS members can commence a brokerage litigation against each other.
