The Taking Issue: Touro Law Center’s 40th Anniversary Symposium

This two day event will include 21 speakers, who will touch on a multitude of issues. The conference is titled “The Taking Issue” in dedication of Fred Bosselman, Esq., who conceived and coauthored The Taking Issue in 1973. The event will take place at Touro Law Center in Central Islip.

On Thursday, October 3rd, registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. The last panel discussion will begin at 2:30 p.m.

On Friday, October 4th, the program will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the last discussion at 2:45 p.m.

Anthony Guardino, Esq., partner, Farrell Fritz, will speak on a panel at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday on the issue of New York Takings Law. Some other discussion topics include the historical overview of “the takings issue,” unconstitutional conditions, and a “relevant parcel/denominator issue.” See the attached event flyer for more information.
