Peter Zlotnik will be a speaker at the noted forum which is present by the ABA Section of Litigation Real Estate Litigation and Condemnation Committee. This workshop is co-sponsored by the Environmental Litigation Committee and the Minority Trial Lawyer Committee. Peter and fellow panelists, Jonathan S. Sack and Thomas Rossi will discuss “Hot Topics and Trends in Real Estate Litigation”.
This panel will focus on the white collar criminal defense issues and challenges in real estate, financing, and construction contracting and development process with private and public entities. The program will address a range of issues including claims concerning construction and design defects in sophisticated, multi-floor residential and office buildings; real estate joint venture and partnership disputes; disputes arising out of or in connection with multi-generational family real estate portfolios and/or the control, management or governance of those portfolios; sustainable design and/or green building disputes. Last, it will focus on the mechanics of bar claims, quiet title actions, and Article 78 proceedings. This program will conclude in a Q&A session.
