This program will provide an overview of real estate development issues in Nassau County, how they fiscally affect the County and how to use environmental insurance as a financial tool to achieve redevelopment of Brownfield (contaminated) properties. Keynote speakers will talk about Nassau County Development Initiatives and New Trends in Environmental Insurance for Municipal Redevelopment. Thereafter, a panel of industry and legal experts will provide a practical analysis of coverage and underwriting considerations and will negotiate an environmental insurance policy for a hypothetical municipal Brownfield transaction.
