Presented by the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, Peter Mahler, partner at Farrell Fritz, will be on a panel that will discuss Family Business Disputes at 2:00-3:30pm on October 16.
This panel will explore the extent to which family ownership affects disputes in LLCs and other unincorporated entities. Necessarily, we will plan to discuss (1) whether family businesses are distinctive in ways that are legally relevant, and (2) whether, as a practical matter, the statutory differences between LLCs, corporations, and other forms of business association matter.
