The Long Island chapter of the Arthritis Foundation has long benefited from the skills and leadership of Farrell Fritz Partner, Robert Creighton. A board member since 1991 and past chairman, Bob, along with a colleague from our tax practice group, helped the organization by revising its outdated bylaws to cause them to be in compliance with state law. Thanks to the efforts of all the volunteers who donate their time, energy and abilities, the Long Island chapter routinely contributes over and above its proportionate share of funds to the nationwide mission of the Arthritis Foundation. Here in Nassau and Suffolk, the Foundation offers an extensive program of services, including educational literature, exercise programs and self-help courses that teach coping techniques – all focused on enabling people with arthritis to “Take Control.”
